Key Performance Indicators:
- Plan, direct and identify problem areas within the plant requiring improvement as directed by the business KPI's.

Implement solutions to assist with process and product development in association with Process Control & Development, Level 2, Technical and Production departments through consolation with respective departments/business units

Implement solutions that relate to and include automation, mistake proofing and manufacturing procedures.

Maintain and develop control systems for gauge, bending ., strip cooling and wrapper control systems

Plan, direct, and co-ordinate hot rolling process improvements linked to TCS system to affect quality, efficiency and availability.

Investigates all control system failures and associated deviations to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain and develop: Heat Transfer systems, Rolling modelling (Level 2) , Level 1 thickness, flatness and strip cooling, Expert system for continuous process parameter optimization of the heating and rolling processes (including Fuzzy Logic).

Constantly co-ordinate process deviations and correct substandard process conditions
Qualification:
Minimum qualification required is a B.Eng (Electrical or Electrical or Mechanical) or Computer Science/computer related
Experience:
3-5 years manufacturing process control, development and automation.
Key Competencies/Skills
Experience in engineering software development (C, C++, C#, Visual Basic)
Knowledge of Level 2 type first principle models' for heating and rolling technology
Knowledge of control systems and instrumentation is advantageous
Employee will be required to work weekly standby-Rotational basis
